Description:
Lap sponges are offered to O.R team for absorbing blood and exudates or for cleaning wound. They can prevent the wound from being affected.
Lap sponge is made of 100% cotton gauze added with barium sulfate tracking X-ray thread (du sheet), processed by a special process. It is commonly used in intracorporeal surgery in European and American hospitals.
Advantage: the sponge has a barium sulfate tracking line (film), which can be developed under X-ray irradiation to prevent the gauze from being left in the patient's body. After special treatment, it is especially soft and prevents gauze from damaging wounds and organs. Ability to absorb liquid is super strong. Comes with a cotton blue strap, which is convenient for the doctor to remove the abdominal pad during surgery. Application: Suitable for cleaning, blood sucking, liquid suction, hemostasis and bandaging of various surgical occasions, especially large scale internal surgery.
